Terms & Conditions

If collecting an order from us, please call us first on 01462 480420 to ensure your goods are ready for collection and to agree a collection time. Please note for security reasons we may ask you for identification and/or to see the card used for purchasing the items, please ensure you have a copy of the order with you or the order number. 
 

 

PayPal Payments & Delivery

 

If paying by PayPal it is the customers' responsibility to ensure that the address registered with PayPal is the correct address for the delivery of any orders. If the address held by PayPal is different you should contact us immediately to advise us of the correct delivery address. Please note that Cutler and Woolf (Steel) Ltd do not have access to PayPal accounts and are unable to amend any of the details. If we are not advised of the correct delivery address then Cutler and Woolf (Steel) Ltd reserves the right to charge for the re-delivery of any goods sent to the wrong address. Cutler and Woolf (Steel) Ltd will not be responsible or be held liable for compensation for any losses, damages, charges or expenses as a result of any delay of delivery or delivery to an incorrect address.

 

Returns

 

We will refund or exchange an item, providing that:

 

  • It is within 14 days of receipt of the goods.

  • You shall send back the goods or hand them over to us at Cutler and Woolf (Steel) Ltd, Unit 25 Jubilee Trade Centre, Jubilee Road, Letchworth Garden City Herts SG6 1SP, without undue delay and All returns MUST be made within 14 calendar days of you telling us that you are cancelling your order. For example if you told us on Monday 1st of January that you were cancelling your order you would then have until Monday 15th of January to return the goods to us.

  • The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of 14 days has expired.

  • If you wish to return an item to us please contact Customer Services on 01462 480420 or email info@cutlerandwoolf.co.uk BEFORE returning any item, who will discuss this with you.

  • Please be aware that should you wish to return an item for any reason other that it being faulty or we have sent the wrong goods you will need to arrange for the goods to be returned to us either by post or courier and this will be at your own cost.

  • We will not refund the original delivery cost or the cost of us delivering the goods if you received free delivery.

  • Any items to be returned should be in the original packing and be unused. We will not accept any items that have been used, cut, damaged and are not in a re saleable condition.

  • We reserve the right to recover any amount up to the contract price of any items returned to us in a damaged state or if the value of the goods is diminished by any amount as a result of you handling the goods beyond what is necessary to check the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.

  • All returns must show on the outer packaging our returns number. Our Customer Services team will give this to you.

  • Any refund will only be made once we are in receipt of the goods or you have supplied evidence of having sent the goods back whichever is the earliest. Any refunds are made by the same method as the original payment was made. We aim to process your refund as soon as possible but this will be within 14 working days of receipt of the returned goods or if earlier 14 days after the day you provide evidence that you have returned the goods.

  • The Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 (CCIACRs) form part of our refund/exchange policy. If the product you ordered is no longer required this allows you to cancel your contract with us within 14 working days of receipt of the goods. This only applies to transactions that are not Business-to-Business. If the goods are not required you will need to arrange for the goods to be returned to us either by post or courier and this will be at your own cost. Please see Your Right to Cancel section shown at the end of these terms and conditions.

If, for any reason, You are not completely satisfied with a purchase We invite You to review our policy on refunds and returns.

Your Order Cancellation Rights:
You are entitled to cancel Your Order within 14 days without giving any reason for doing so.

The deadline for cancelling an Order is 14 days from the date on which You received the Goods or on which a third party you have appointed, who is not the carrier, takes possession of the product delivered.

We will reimburse You no later than 14 days from the day on which We receive the returned Goods. We will use the same means of payment as You used for the Order, and You will not incur any fees for such reimbursement.

Conditions for Returns:
In order for the Goods to be eligible for a return, please make sure that:

  1. The Goods were purchased in the last 14 days.

  2. The Goods were not used or damaged.
     

We reserve the right to refuse returns of any merchandise that does not meet the above return conditions in our sole discretion.

Returning Goods:
You are responsible for the cost and risk of returning the Goods to Us. You should send the Goods to the following address clearly stating the order number and description of the enclosed goods:

Damaged Goods:
If Goods are damaged in transit and the damage is apparent on delivery, you should sign the delivery note to the effect that the goods have been damaged. In any event, you should report such damage to Easy-Steel.co.uk within 10 days and arrange collection and return.  In the event of receiving damaged Goods, EasySteel.co.uk is responsible for paying shipment costs. Upon receipt of the returned Goods, the price of the Goods, as paid by you, will be refunded to you through the payment method used by you when purchasing the Goods.

We cannot be held responsible for Goods damaged or lost in return shipment. Therefore, We recommend an insured and trackable mail service. We are unable to issue a refund without actual receipt of the Goods or proof of received return delivery.
